Hunting, shooting, fishing for Pere david deer

Stalking, Bowhunting, Highseat

Peril among the swampy wetlands of China brought the story of the Pere David deer to miles of new, lush living on private properties throughout the world.

A walk up on one of these deer is like witnessing a bottled piece of fragile history.

Huge expanses of Pere David sanctuary mainly found in the United States and England, but throughout the world lay setting to this rare and special deer.

Why so special besides its rarity? This deer has a particular antler pattern not seen in any other deer species. Pere David deer have their set of antler tines pointing backwards, positioned on steep main beams that are almost parallel to the ground.

Their antlers are a definite conversation piece to the right sharp-eyed huntsman. Exceptional Pere David ranches offer trophy hunts usually in a variety of ways- everything from a walk-up, or a blind hunt to bow hunting.
