WHITE TAIL DEER (COUES)

Hunting, shooting, fishing for White tail deer (coues)

Stalking, Bowhunting, Highseat, Hunting from a Blind

Subspecies to the white tail deer, Cous white tail is a lightweight, desert deer thriving in dry climates throughout Mexico and the southwestern United States.

This crisp hunt is a getaway from a northern hunt's bitter frostbite down in the dry deserts of scarcely habitable country.

Cous are however, very adaptable and can be found in high altitudes including the Chiracahua and White mountain ranges of Arizona.

Although small, it is a fine game animal with mousey grey coat, their bucks with 3-4 tined antlers, keen senses, and notably long tails. Spot and stalk a Cous like you would other deer and getting a shot on a jumping, startled Cous is an increasingly well-known desert country addiction.

Finding trails, rub marks, nesting areas and droppings will bring you to a fine trophy Cous deer on your next hunt for some white tail.
