Glacier Guides, Inc

The owner says

Glacier Guides is the longest-tenured outfitter operating on the Tongass National Forest, America’s largest National Forest. We pioneered yacht-based expeditions in Southeast Alaska, and are the only outfitter in the area with luxury vessels custom-built specifically for our operations. We offer the largest, most diverse area of operation in Alaska.

Glacier Guides is a 2nd Generation Alaskan family-owned and operated business that’s been sharing this pristine Alaskan wilderness with people from all over the world for the past 40 years and counting. We are fortunate to have some of the most experienced Captains in the area, familiar with navigation in the myriad of islands and knowledgeable on where to find fish and wildlife. All of our captains have guided in the area for multiple years, and are recognized as some of the best captains and guides in the industry.

Our founder, Jimmie C. Rosenbruch, was the 2005 Safari Club International Professional Hunter of the Year, and his daughter, Alisha "Mutts" Rosenbruch-Decker, was the 2008 Safari Club International Professional Hunter of the Year. When you travel with us, you travel with true professionals who have lived and guided in the area for years. Our service is simply unmatched!
