The owner says

La Réserve Beauchêne is a magnificent, exclusive 205.7 square kilometre (over 50,000 acres) territory in the high hills of Quebec. The province of Ontario can be seen across the beautiful valley of the Ottawa River. La Réserve Beauchêne contains over 3 dozen lakes each of which offers some of the best fishing in Canada and there are many other lakes in the territory waiting to be explored. Quality time in the outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere, tranquil setting and drive-to location makes it easy to slow down life’s constant demands and reconnect with family members at Beauchêne. Book one of our many back lakes and have it all to yourselves for the day to enjoy a little one-on-one or a friendly family fishing challenge. Our American Plan with meals and housekeeping included allows you to maximize your time in the outdoors. Enjoy being carefree and spend your time fishing, hunting, swimming, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking or just taking a short boat ride to one of our great beaches on the main lake. The great outdoors is your playground. Outpost camps offer a little more of the “back-to-nature” experience with most of the basic comforts and the solitude of a remote location. Our 40 lakes, 7 fish species and 50,000 acre territory provides great opportunities to introduce fishing to first timers or perhaps to learn about the outdoors together with the help of a skilled guide.
When the days grow shorter and the nights become colder, Beauchêne’s scenic landscape begins to change; Mother Nature paints the landscape with brilliant colours of fall. Hunting season is upon us! It is then when the night turns cold, the hills break into colour and the Loons raft up out on our big lakes that Beauchêne’s vastness belongs to the hunter!
