Fihing lodgesSalvelinus offers a wide range of accommodation beginning with the two main lodges, each centrally located in its region to provide the best access to outstanding fishing:
La Jacetania Lodge: a 15th-century stone built fishing lodge, on the banks of the Aragon River, in the picturesque village of Santa Cilia in the western Pyrenees.
La Ribagorza Lodge: a charming traditional hotel in the Pyrenees with superb local cuisine serves as the main SALVELINUS base of operations in the eastern Pyrenees.
Both are well equipped with comfortable rooms, outstanding new and traditional Spanish cuisine, and complemented by select Rioja and Pyrenees wines.
SALVELINUS not only works from 2 strategically located Lodges in the heart of the Pyrenees but can also offer a choice range of accommodation close to the fishing hotspots throughout the extensive Pyrenees of northern Spain in the regions of Navarre, Aragon, Catalonia and the small independent country of Andorra

Your hosts at Salvelinus: Ivan Tarin, Founder. Ivan Tarin is the Head of the team of SALVELINUS guides. A passionate devotee of flyfishing for trout in their natural surroundings and a firm believer in a job worth doing is a job worth doing well. Iván has built up an efficient team. Iván has worked exclusively in SALVELINUS since 1999. Every year, from March to November he specializes in fly – fishing from two bases of operations, which cover the PYRENEES from east to west. Iván personally accompanies groups of fly – fishing anglers on organized trips to PATAGONIA both in Chile as well as in Argentina. All the areas chosen have been previously inspected and the waters are considered to be among the best trout waters in the world.

Permits: Clients are required to be in possession of the necessary fishing licenses for the country/ region (Aragon, Navarre and/or Catalonia for example) where the fishing will take place. These can be obtained online and SALVELINUS can process the request if the client so desires. A photocopy of the ID or passport of the anglers is required by law, and that includes all children. An official receipt proving the angler has formally applied to the competent authorities for ID or the renovation of same is also acceptable.
