Alaska is fortunate to have some of the best wing shooting in all of North America, and we at Alaska Wildfowl Adventures are privileged to be able to assist you in experiencing this state’s great bounty!

Here in Alaska we have the largest populations of some of the most unique and most highly sought after trophy birds, surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery! Pursue Harlequin, Scoter and Barrow’s Goldeneye in the beautiful glacial fjords of south-central Alaska. Whatever species you’re targeting, you’re assured a scene that’ll forever be etched in your memory.

At Alaska Wildfowl Adventures, we are Alaska’s Premier Wildfowl Guide Service specializing in high quality, safe hunts with a low guide to client ratio. As we enter our 10th season in guiding waterfowl in Alaska we have the experience to give you an amazing hunt. We are also one of the only guide services that live here in Alaska year around and know our areas.

We strive to provide an enjoyable and unique hunting experience during our Alaska duck hunting. Whether we’re in layout blinds on a glacial moraine pursuing Dusky Canada Geese, or loaded up into layout boats stealthily hunting Harlequin,you’re guaranteed an exciting hunt! Hunt with us on the water and bag upwards of sixteen species of ducks and geese, or join us on an upland hunt to nab up to three species of ptarmigan. We have many options to choose from!

Alaska duck hunting is something every waterfowl hunter needs to experience at least once in their lifetime, and we at Alaska Wildfowl would love to be the ones to guide you!

Your host at Alaska Wildfowl Adventures: Capt. Tim Bouchard, Owner and Guide. Tim is the owner and head guide of Alaska Wildfowl Adventures. Tim started the company ten seasons ago and it is going strong! He is a licensed Coast Guard Captain, Waterfowl Guide, Assistant Big Game Guide, Fishing Guide, and is on the water year-round. This coming season will be Alaska Wildfowl Adventures 12th year in business! Over the years we have always worked at staying true to the reason we started the business, to share some of the most unique and adventurous duck hunting in North America with duck hunting enthusiasts around the world. We specialize in high quality hunts for trophy birds with a low guide to client ratio. You will experience one of the most beautiful places in Alaska on our Valdez sea duck hunts.

Hunting experience at Alaska Wildfowl Adventures: Valdez offers amazing wing shooting in some of the most beautiful scenery in Alaska. During our trips you will have the opportunity to bag upwards of sixteen species of ducks and geese. On most trips seven to nine species is very common. We not only offer high quality duck hunts at a great rate, but we also offer them in one of the most beautiful locations in the world! Our main targeted species on our Valdez hunts are harlequin, barrows goldeneye, black  scoter, surf scoter, old squaw, common mergansers, bufflehead, great scuap, and  red-breasted mergansers. You will also have chances at harvesting a variety of other species depending on the season’s  weather.
