Cockett Farm is a specialist Clay Pigeon shooting venue situated approximately 12 miles from Nottingham in the East Midlands.
The ground opened in the early 1980’s and is a friendly, family run business, owned and managed by the Collingham family.
The management team have over 70 years of top level clay shooting experience, representing England at Down the Line and county teams in Skeet, Sporting, FITASC, Down the Line and Automatic Ball Trap. In addition, the ground owner, Roger Collingham, has over 50 years game shooting experience.
Rather than follow the trend of diversifying into other activities, we have chosen to focus on our core strengths in shooting and have progressively developed the ground over the years to ensure a warm welcome and enjoyable shooting experience, whether complete novice or international competitor.
Cockett Farm is open to all 6 days per week, closed on Thursdays and features a purpose built, spacious clubhouse with light refreshments available. The major clay shooting disciplines of Sporting, Skeet and Trap are available. In all, 7 different disciplines are featured - including our own discipline of High Skeet, which provides excellent practice for Game shooting.
To ensure that all our customers are treated equally, no membership fees are applicable.
Insurance cover is in effect for shooting activities at the ground, in addition we also hold a Section 11(6) exemption certificate, allowing those without their own shotgun license to enjoy the sport when appropriately supervised.
Cockett Farm is a Trade Member of the two major UK shooting organisations - CPSA & BASC
