On our 2000 hectares of savannah bushveld grounds you will find plenty of plains game. We also offer 30000 hectares of hunting concessions in the immediate surrounding areas and 30000 hectares in the Eastern Cape. The hunting technique used is mainly walk and stalk. South Africa is a paradise for plains game hunting with an abundance of species. The plains game hunt is an affordable and exiting hunt. The species available varies from region to region, please contact us for more information about the game available on our hunting grounds and concessions.Imbasa is fully equipped for bow hunting with excellent hunting blinds. The blinds are placed strategically along game paths or in the proximity of waterholes.We also offer very exiting bird shooting at Imbasa and at our concessions. The birds are all totally wild and indigenous. The hunting is personal, private and best of all sustainable. At Imbasa’s grounds you can hunt Pigeon, Guinea Fowl and Egyptian Geese, this can also be combined with plains game hunting. Our principal game bird hunting area is two hours drive from Johannesburg and here we can offer outstanding shooting for Swainsson’s Francolin, Greywing, Partridge, Orange River Partridge, Guinea Fowl, Spurwinged Geese, Egyptian Geese, Yellow Billed Duck, Red Billed Teal, Doves and Pidgeons. The hunting methods employed obviously vary according to the species and the area in which the birds are being hunted. Methods involve the use of hides, driven hunts and walked-up shooting, using pointers and retrievers.
