Location: Situated in the heart of the Eastern Cape, South Africa, set against a beautiful landscape, the Hunter has an opportunity for classic African Adventure, experiencing the essence of 5 Star African luxury in a Malaria-free Game Reserve.

About your host at Tam Safaris: Irvin & Therese Tam have been married for over 30yrs and are both second generation born South Africans. They together with their two sons- Peter & Stephen are the proud owners of Tam Safaris. Irvin grew up hunting with his father and has always had a passion for the outdoors and wildlife. In 1995 he purchase his first hunting area and slowly started re-introducing many indigenous species once lost to the area. Therese your hostess will meet you at the Port Elizabeth airport and transfer hunters to and from camp. Therese can also assist you should you wish to arrange a sightseeing trip through South Africa, before or after your safari.

­­­­­­Hunting experience at Tam Safaris: South Africa is one of the world's finest Safari destinations. Safaris are conducted within the unique habitat of a diversity of high-mountain sour veld, open, flat grassland alongside semi-desert thorn scrub, dramatic vistas and the exotic rock formations of the magnificent Karoo region. Tam Safaris is home to three of Africa's BIG 5- Lion and Rhino and Buffalo. Its land stretches over an area of 60,000 acres and offers guests the ultimate hunting experience. In this diverse and very private environment the largest variety of Game Species in the world exists to tempt the hunter. The area abounds with Black and White Rhino, Lion, Buffalo, Sable, Roan, as well as a large variety of all the Plains Game and African Exotics.   • Although the Professional Hunters and Staff of Tam Safaris are highly skilled and experienced, especially in the field of hunting dangerous game, sport hunting is a hazardous activity. Tam Safaris does not accept any responsibility in the event of an accident and/or personal injury; nor does it accept responsibility for the loss of any personal property.
  • All payments to be made in cash, travelers’ cheques, cashiers cheque or by certified bank draft. 
  • Personal cheques will not be accepted without prior arrangements.

Accommodation: s a most valued guest, your safari programme can start or end with a stay at the totally private and exclusive Tam Safaris Lodge, situated in the beautiful seaside suburb of Summerstrand.   • Taxidermy: Tam Safaris consider the culmination of excellent safaris is when the mounted trophy is in pride of position on wall. We do all Dip and Pack of trophies. Trophies are subsequently delivered to local Taxidermist or client destination of choice. We export trophies within 4 months, unless Government Issue of Export Permits is delayed.

Export Trophy, Dipping, Packing and Freighting. Taxidermy. Exportation of Trophies. V.A.T. at 14 %, as per Government Regulations on non Trophy Items Gratuities.

Terms of payment
A deposit of 50% is required to secure a booking. The right is reserved to change tariffs in written notice. All payments to be made in cash, travelers’ cheques, cashiers cheque or by certified bank draft. Personal cheques will not be accepted without prior arrangements.
Cancellation
Deposits will be refunded if safari is cancelled 6 months prior to start of safari or if safari can be rebooked.
