Classic English Pheasant Shooting in the Kent Countryside The Holborough Estate is renowned for showing high driven pheasants from Hanging woods along the chalk escarpments of the North Downs, the gun line numbering 8 or 9 pegs are all stood in Grassland Woodland valleys where a choice of 14 named drives are available for our,Full time Game Keeper to choose from.
The Holborough estate has been a driven pheasant shoot for over 60 years, we can be reached by traveling guns in less than 30 minutes from Essex, Sussex and Surrey and under 1 hour from West London. The day begins in the Gun Room attached to the keepers cottage, where a roaring log fire will welcome you with tea, coffee and a breakfast roll on arrival. After Pegs are drawn all guns are transported throughout the day in our 14 seat Gun bus where we serve snacks and drinks between every drive. The day will finish again in the Gun room with an optional 2 course meal, wine, cheese and biscuits, or homemade cakes, tea and coffee.
Guns are welcome to bring their dogs as well as wives or other none shooting guests.
We shoot with maximum of 8 or 9 guns standing with between 4 or 5 drives during the day, shooting 200 or 150 bird days.
The Estates shoot manager, Trevor Homewood would be pleased to receive any enquiries to join our syndicate or from roving syndicates that wish to book a complete day.
