The flights got changed which meant our outfitter was at the wrong terminal of the right airport. It took us several hours to get past that, but once on our way, the hunting went very smoothly. We stayed at a hotel our host had lined up, and while probably okay for most Hungarians, it was a little below what Americans expect. The food was in local restaurants or in the field and was very good. The shooting was very good, but a lot of the birds were quite low which meant no shooting. We did have a few spectacular drives with good bags. There was a lot of old world charm, and not, as bringing guns through the Budapest airport reminded me of and old war movie. Overall a good hunt for the money.
