Kodiak Outdoor Adventures is proud to offer premier, professionally guided, fair chase hunts for Kodiak Brown Bear, Mountain Goats, Sitka Blacktail Deer and Waterfowl. We concentrate solely on Kodiak Island, operating three exclusive use guide areas in the heart of the Kodiak Island Archipelago, hunting Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge, State of Alaska and Kodiak Native lands.

Alaska Master Guide/Outfitter Paul A. Chervenak #160 is a 37 year resident of Kodiak Island who has operated his own guiding and outfitting business here for 32 years. He has commercial fished, personally hunted and worked for other guides here on Kodiak during this period, making him truly knowledgeable of hunting Kodiak Island. Additionally, he has added experience from having hunted and guided for other operators throughout the rest of Alaska.

With our different guide areas, and thus different hunting styles, we are able to offer a wide variety of hunting opportunities, enabling us to customize your hunt to your desires, requirements and capabilities. We personally will fully prepare you and teach you as much as possible about Kodiak and your trip prior to your arrival, continuing with the most professional, yet personal, service while you are here. We are extremely experienced with trophy preparation and care and expediting it to your final destination.

Preparation includes assistance or taking care of all necessary paperwork, planning your travel to Kodiak, equipment needed, food and medical requirements, and video’s of past hunts to help educate you on what to expect regarding terrain, weather conditions, and animal behavior. We also will supply additional information on Kodiak Island and its history, videos on trophy judging and more.
We ask that you too prepare your self as much as possible to fully be able to participate in, experience and enjoy your hunt. We pride ourselves in our ability to accommodate anyone that would like to hunt. We go through extensive preparations and train year round, to be in top physical condition, to ensure your hunt is as productive and enjoyable as we can make it. We ask that you do the same. Above all we are committed to making sure you have the most rewarding, successful and best experience possible.
