The Outdoor Vibe is proud to work with some of the most exciting lodges in Argentina. Our outfitters have been running lodges for decades so know exactly what to offer to our clientele to ensure their stay is memorable. Wing Shooting in Argentina has been a mainstay of country life for generations and our guides are some of the most knowledgeable available.

What’s your choice of Game?
We can offer hunting for Perdiz, Dove, Pigeon and Duck in Entre Rios as well as stalking for large game in Patagonia. Exact tour itineraries are organised after speaking with yourself to ensure you are spending your time shooting as you wish. Time at the lodges can be spent targeting a single species or, if you prefer, each day can be arranged to hunt something new. It’s even possible to spend a day on the river fishing for the Golden Dorado, a renowned sports fish in South America known as “The River Tiger”.

Where will you stay?
The lodges are based in Entre Rios in the North of Argentina, only a short 2hr flight from Buenos Aires so your tour won’t be taken up with needless travel time. Their locations are also only a short trip from the airport in Santa Fe and all shoots are conducted within a short walk/drive from the lodge. All lodges are fitted with WiFi and satellite tv so you can stay tuned in with the world if you so require. Our lodges are all of a high standard and come with en suite bathrooms, gun rooms and cleaning rooms as well as relaxing lounge areas and outdoor verandas.

It’s not just about the hunting.
Hotels and cultural excursions in Buenos Aires can also be encompassed into your tour either before or after you head to the lodge thus ensuring your trip to Argentina is unforgettable. Whether you prefer a guided tour around the capital, shopping in the many boutiques or taking a day trip to the Tigre Delta UNESCO site, we can organise your tour to maximise your adventure.

I used Jon to organise a day's dove shooting in Argentina in a day trip from Buenos Aires. I only had very limited time, so wanted someone who could make this work and Jon was very efficient and helpful in this regard. He was able to sort everything and it all worked seamlessly, giving me a taste of the unique experience as an add-on to a 2 week Patagonia trekking holiday. Jon offers a bespoke service and can arrange all kinds of experiences to take advantage of the vast array of outdoor activities to which Argentina is ideally suited. Whether this be playing (or watching) polo, trekking, horse riding or staying on an estancia, fly fishing or pretty much whatever you are into. Highly recommended for taking the hassle out of sorting these kind of activities when in Argentina.

I organised a trip along with three others to go shooting in Cordoba (Argentina) through the Outdoor Vibe and I have to say everything about the experience was great! We are not heavily experienced shooters but everything was tailored to our needs and the customer service from start to finish was perfect- always happy to answer any questions or make any adjustments with no fuss! We went Duck and Pigeon and Dove shooting over the two days that we had, there were plenty of birds (more than plenty!) so it didn't matter too much for those of us that take a little warming up!! Outside of the shooting the country is fantastic, lovely people, great weather and even better food! I would thoroughly recommend this service to anyone thinking of going on a shooting trip with a bit of a difference. Thank you very much!!

This was my first time fishing for golden dorado, but it won't be my last. These fish are tough. They hit hard, pull hard, and will jump no matter what you do. Hooking them is the easy part; landing is tougher thanks to their acrobatics and the strong current (I hooked 9 in just a few hours, during the low season). Fly fishing is very productive, but don't worry if you don't fly fish, as the lodge has quality casting/spinning gear as well. Besides the great fishing, the other tremendous mixed-bag opportunities available are innumerable doves, tasty and plentiful ducks, sporty perdiz, and wary pigeons. This is a true "cast and blast" destination, par excellence! The Outdoor Vibe also arranged for some fabulous sight seeing, shopping, entertainment and dining for me while I was in Buenos Aires, in addition to arranging for my hotel and transportation. It is all completely bespoke based upon your needs and wants and, possibly more importantly, the needs and wants of your wife/girlfriend/other non-hunters or non-anglers along for the trip.

Although the hunting for doves, pigeons and ducks was tremendous, as was the fishing for golden dorado, I'd have to say that the perdiz hunting was the highlight of my trip. These sporty little game birds (about the size of bobwhite quail) are hunted over dogs (Springer Spaniels) and provide challenging targets as they explode from beneath your feet. A morning of chasing them across the fields is also great exercise after spending a couple of days in a dove/duck/pigeon blind. If you enjoy tricky shooting and watching a good dog work, you will have a blast pursuing perdiz.

If you're an avid wingshooter and you haven't been to Argentina yet, you owe it to yourself. There is virtually no limit to how much dove shooting you can do in a day. Shooting 3,000+ shells a day is certainly realistic. And the doves are flying in every direction, so you can pick and choose your shots. And you can walk to your field! No long drives in a crowded van. The pigeons are not as numerous, but they are hunted differently, over decoys, for a change of pace. Besides doves and pigeons, ducks, perdiz and fishing for golden dorado make this a tremendous mixed-bag opportunity.

You simply can't ask for much better duck hunting than Argentina has to offer. Even before it gets light enough to see, the ducks begin filtering into the decoys spread out before you in the farm pond. There's no point in being impatient and shooting before it's bright enough, as there will be birds, birds and more birds. They are various species of teal and other local species, and you can pick and choose your shots as you see fit. Filling out your limit of 20 ducks will only take as long as you want it to; if you want to limit out quickly and perhaps go do some perdiz hunting, then you can be done in 30 minutes or less. If you want to enjoy it longer, you can be selective and take only certain shots (perhaps more challenging shots) and then it might take you a couple of hours. It really depends on how much time you have to enjoy the other tremendous mixed-bag opportunities available, namely doves, perdiz, pigeons and fishing for golden dorado. I only had 2.5 days to sample it all, so I took all reasonable shots as they were presented.
