Welcome to Morghew Park, one of Kent's ancient estates with many boundaries traced back to 968 AD, a century before the Norman Conquest; when its sale for 1450 pence was witnessed by Edgar, arguably the first King of all England.
We’re located near Tenterden and home to over 2000 acres of arable and woodland, with a pleasing mixture of Wealden upland (small fields, hawthorn hedges and oak standards) descending steeply onto traditional marshland.
The land is in a ring-fence, meaning that the Estate is not bisected by any public roads, and several of the drives are up to a mile from the nearest road.
The Morghew Shoot is renowned for the warmth and friendliness of its hospitality, the wide range of shooting opportunities available and above all else, an excellent day spent in the Garden of England.
Overseas visitors are very welcome, we speak fluent German and good French. Every season, we entertain Guns from Germany, France, Belgium and Holland. We’re only 45 minutes from the Eurotunnel at Folkestone and 60 minutes from Dover harbour.
