It’s written in our name. Although there are several hunting outfits, we are dedicated to bring you the true experience of Africa that you’ve always desired. We hunt ethically and sustainably, utilising hunting safaris as part of a greater conservation tool, contributing greatly towards several reserve management structures, and thus maintaining a balance to our much treasured natural ecosystem.

PHILIP OOSTHUIZEN (DG PH)
From years of growing up in the bush, Philip is an adventurist, avid nature lover and keen conservationist. After school Philip gained a Nature Conservation Diploma at university in Pretoria and thereafter spend some years in reserve management in the Greater Kruger National Park of which included a fair amount of professional hunting.

After the passing of his only brother Daniel, Philip took over True African Safaris in honour of him, leaving a reserve management life behind and continuing the legacy his brother has left. Philip is also a dedicated marksman, Dangerous game PH, and boasts a good amount of bush knowledge and skills.
